Explore and learn about your city while on a Murder Mystery Scavenger Hunt

Riddles or Dares? Murder Mystery 5k is the race where smarts beat speed. Teams of two to five solve RIDDLES and complete DARE challenges by using an Augmented Reality app to collect clues to solve the murder. Amazing Race meets Pokemon GO sort of speak.

You will be given list of locations and a map. It will be up to you to plan your route in the most efficient way possible. At each location you will be challenged with a RIDDLE. Unable to answer the riddle? We dare you to do a DARE! Teams with most points at the end will win the race.

Throughout the race, you will be introduced to new locations, history of the city, try new food, make new friends, and ability to get out of your comfort zone and be silly.

You must wear your Murder Mystery shirts throughout the race, unless you are in team costume. This is a team race, please stay together throughout the race. You may walk, run or use public transportation, no UBER or LYFT allowed.

DARES range from doing a cartwheel,  gathering 5 stranger to join your soul train, and even performing Britney Spears’ Baby One More Time to an audience of 5.

Our DARES and RIDDLES are family friendly. 

You see, anyone can get in the game! The scavenger hunts take place on weekends and are played on teams of up to five people. No knowledge of any hunt location is required—all you need is a sharp mind and a good pair of shoes. Speed has nothing to do with this race, so, put on your thinking cap and come join us.
